Business Growth West Midlands recently featured Energym as a case study on its website. Before the write-up came a visit, and it was great to chat about our electricity-generating gym technology, especially the RE:GEN, our flagship product. Both during and after the visit, we got to chat about the Energym origin story and share some of the awards we’ve won over the last few years. It was also a chance to explain how we’d benefitted from business support since first contacting them. Photo Credit: Kate Hollingsworth It's the one thing we'd encourage any new business in the West Midlands to investigate, as financial or knowledge-based support can be invaluable in navigating the challenging waters of growing a small to medium-sized business. If your business isn't based in the West Midlands, you can contact your local provider via the GOV.UK website. It's a mutually beneficial relationship as these organisations want to assist you. They receive Government funding to do so, and they understand that supporting the growth of small and medium-sized businesses will bring money, jobs, and expertise to the local economy. Business support can be financial or can take the form of advice, training, networking or mentoring. As companies look to become more sustainable, the support can also help businesses navigate funding or provide guidance to ensure buildings and processes are efficient.
