Awards are like buses. There’s nothing for ages, and then four come along at once. Luckily, these accolades are for web design, so we get shiny virtual badges rather than honking great trophies. The CSS Design Awards has awarded Energym prizes for user interface design, user experience design, best innovation, and a special kudos award. Judging was decided by a panel of industry experts and a public vote. The CSS Design Awards represent ‘excellence in aesthetics and effects, user experience, functionality and innovation’. Manchester-based design agency Creat8 was tasked with constructing the custom Shopify build. Energym’s Founder and CEO, Will Flint, oversaw development, ensuring the website had a clean interface with room for visually compelling narratives and clear details of what an electricity-generating fitness bike offers individuals, gyms and offices. Will Fint, Energym CEO said “We're thrilled to be recognised for the Energym website. Partnering with a top-tier agency like Create8 was key and alongside our Marketing team’s creativity, we brought to life something truly exceptional. These award wins are a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation!” Pete Screeton, Creative Director at Create8 said “We're extremely proud of this award for Energym. The collaboration between our team at Create8 and Energym was a huge success. Not only have we received awards, but we also know this has significantly benefited Energym's overall marketing, which is fantastic to hear. Energym is such a cool and unique product that deserves an engaging, motion-driven website.” Innovation has been at the heart of the RE:GEN’s development, so it’s great to see this echoed in the website’s design and acknowledged by experts in the design field.
